Bonsai Outlet is having a 20% off sale store wide. They don't say when it will end, only that you use spring2012 as a promo code to receive the discount. They have $5 dollar shipping on all orders for tools/supplies. I figure this could be a good time to get some things for cheap(er)!

So I go through and add about $150 worth of tools to my cart, go to check out and Hawaii is not on the list of states, I guess we are not part of the US anymore.

Yeahh after looking at their prices for 10 minutes i wouldn't recommend the website.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I'm still fairly green to the scene, still having a hard time finding a good online supplier too.

No worries, good suppliers are hard to come by, it seems -- well, ones that sell stuff at reasonable prices, that is. Here are a couple:

For tools, I would use eBay, GrowCo (Joshua Roth tools -- lower end, but still quality), or California Bonsai (Masakuni tools -- high end, a bit expensive).
For wire, I and others would suggest Adams Bonsai. His copper bends like butter! Plus it's fairly inexpensive.

I am new but I find these aluminum wires really good and covers most of my needs. I liked it so much that I actually ordered a 2nd batch though I am only half way through my original order.
