Doesn't anyone worry about security?! Are you planning to fence your yard and pond? Around here people steal both trees and koi, but then I do live in a large North American city. It looks great though!
Well, one DOES have to get some exercise SOMEHOW! I think it would be worth it to have to come into the kitchen to select your next beer:Curious, will @Dav4 have any input in regards to the "photo studio"?
I'm not seeing an outdoor wine rack or a conveniently located beer fridge?
Looks like it will be a great space, enjoy it!!
…...what's up with that JM forest-y looking piece in the foreground.....don't believe you've shared a peek of that one yet....
The perimeter is fenced. (Or will be.). I already have security cameras.Doesn't anyone worry about security?! Are you planning to fence your yard and pond? Around here people steal both trees and koi, but then I do live in a large North American city. It looks great though!
We do have deer, but they don’t get too close. My little subdivision backs to to the Soque River, and the wildlife prefers to stay close to it.Looks great. Any concerns about deer or other animals?

I knew there had to be an equivalent to BNut for ponds! Thanks for the link!@Adair M May indirect you to www.gardenpondforum.com. It’s the bnut of pond forums. My bonsai knowledge is severely limited but I’m on there under the same handle. I have 2 ponds (3 1/2’ deep plus one 6’ deep connected by a 20’ stream. Lots of knowledgeable people there. I’ll warn you filters there is like soil here. If you don’t want koi I can suggest shebunkin goldfish. I have 2 bogs. Looks like a great set up. Hey... I’m just happy it’s back on the shelf at the grocery store! They didn’t have any for months. I guess there was a Shiner shortage due to that big bonsai convention in Houston.Wasting a lot of shelf space on beer that is not Shiner.
Aquascape
I follow “ Greg Whitstock, the pond guy” on YouTube.aquascapes you say? takashi amano's work and the iwagumi aquascapes are a good way to spend hours on the net

That’s a “European Style” swimming pond. There’s also a style called a “Recreation Pond” that looks more like a fish pond. It also has plants as filters.I was pretty amazed by this when I came across it awhile back. The only way I’d ever have a pool.
No problem. I’m definitely more a water feature guy myself. Koi keepers vary greatly as you said.I knew there had to be an equivalent to BNut for ponds! Thanks for the link!
I’ve been addicted to watching the Aquascape videos on YouTube.
I’ve also learned there’s a divide between the koi purists and the “water feature” purists. I’m afraid I lean more towards the “water feature” side.
Yep! Lots of iron in Georgia red clay!Looks like an iron mine
