You are working barefoot on a concrete floor and the scissors drop. Do you put your feet in between the falling tool and the concrete or not?

I once accidentally dropped a small knife and it stabbed the top of my foot and just nicked a blood vessel. When I put weight on the foot, the blood spurt out about a foot high.

they are Joshua Roth. I really don't have reason to suspect they were damaged, likely because they went straight into the wood!What brand are those? I would be crying were they Kaneshin, Joshua Roth, Masakuni, etc... as the steel they use is very brittle. The very tip of my first Joshua Roth chipped inside my tool bag.
