Well, the huge pot it went into weighed 20 # more then the smaller mica one...and it holds 30% more soil... so yeah, that freakin' tree is a lot heavier!!

Got a bald cypress in my growing bed healing a trunk chop. All this bc talk lately has me really itching to get it out of the ground and into a container so I can start working on those branches. Probably still a few years away, though.

They’re cool, but super skiddish. Our back yard is full of them, red-tailed ones too. BC looks good Dave.
