Hi everyone,
Hoping to get a verdict on what this what this white stuff is on my tridents forest material. I’ll admit I bought the trees like this. They sort of create a what I call a tiger pattern. So far they leaf out nicely in the spring summer periods but I’m wondering if this is something I should worry about and if anyone can suggest a way to clean it off?IMG_6613.jpegIMG_6615.jpegIMG_6614.jpeg

It looks to me like it’s lichen. I don’t believe lichen impacts the health of the tree, and to me is a great indicator of age.

Yeah its either a spesie of lichen, or remnants of lichen that has been killed.
The lichen i'm used to isn't that smooth...but it has that appearance after a while when I sprayed vinegar on it.
