I Received these at the Funeral of my Wife's Grandmother. They were the 1800 Flowers products, in crappy soil which I replaced. I didn't do much in the way of styling a few branches trimmed. Just gonna let them grow for a season.20170911_165650.jpg 20170911_165543.jpg

Looks like florist type azalea and gardenia. Both are not hardy in Michigan. To be safe, bring them indoors before frost. Both could take a couple light frosts but best to not risk soil freezing in the pot.

The brightest and coolest window indoors will work for winter. Both would like to be below 60F at night for the winter.

Read up on potting mixes for azalea and Satsuki azalea bonsai. Gardenia will do better in the same mix as the azalea, both like mildly acidic soil. Repot next year, after blooming.
