Those pots were commissions for @Marlborough Handcraft and @Shogun610 they should have been made and delivered months ago.....but I had this crazy idea to make 100 pots which put me way back. I was also asked by the studio that if I use the kiln to fill it completely, another reason why I had to make so many pots.So you are taking orders for these? I thought you were keeping them. Dang.
Lookin good !
Thanks, much appreciated!Awesome work. Looking good.
That looks like 52 pots. Does that mean bisque phase is done, and we'll see glazes next?!
48 pots and 4 cookies. I will be testing a Cone 10 glaze that was given to me. I was told it can run so I made the 4 cookies for those pots. That looks like 52 pots. Does that mean bisque phase is done, and we'll see glazes next?!

You wanted unglaze. It's still bisque at the moment you can opt to change to glaze if you want. Just let me know what color glaze.Exquisite! Cannot wait to get my hands on it! Did we decide to glaze it or no (boy is my memory getting bad)
6/2? How many amps does that kiln draw?! Surprised an electrical supply house couldn't get something for you. Might be worth calling an electrical contractor and seeing if they have something you could buy. 25ft might be something they have left over from a job. As for glaze, if you don't mind glazing it, do a makers choice, have fun with it!You wanted unglaze. It's still bisque at the moment you can opt to change to glaze if you want. I'm trying to track down 6/2 solid Romex so I can hook up my kiln at the house. Haven't difficulties trying to track down a 25ft roll locally.
I'm going to get a sub-panel installed with a 50 amp breaker. The kiln pulls 24 amps and will be on a 30amp breaker. I've been going to homedepot and Lowes.....non have it in stock. May be forced to hit up an actual electrical supply warehouse.6/2? How many amps does that kiln draw?! Surprised an electrical supply house couldn't get something for you. I was planning to buy a new test kiln this year, but the prices on the kilns skyrocketed since Covid started.......so I will make my own test kiln.Jealousy courses through my veins, friend!
I still have about 2 weeks until I can start firing again..
Will be using any clay "earnings", this season to purchase a used, electric kiln.. So I can fire all-year round. With abundance of either air.. or fuel.
