Mame pots on a mini pottery wheel

the kind of thing that has to be done with an airbrush.
Just want to mention that while it isn't impossible, I don't know any potters that have any luck using an airbrush on pottery. Pottery glazes have a lot of particulates in them and always clog up the nozzle. I know of a lot of people who tried it and gave up. Somebody out there is probably doing it but none of the many potters I know.
I talked myself out of trying when I heard of all the problems.

Hm... I used a simple mouth-blown atomizer for fixative, in school years ago. For what it's worth, they're available here -- modest & deluxe models 🙂

Yeah, they work great. Problem is you have little control. But I love the spontaneity.
For the kinda of shading of the flowers suggested, it would be near impossible.

🤔 ...and THAT makes me think of BxW darkroom work, when "dodge & burn" called for paper cut to approximate shapes and taped onto loops of thin wire for handles. Where there's a will, there's an experiment! 😁

(And now I settle down & be quiet again. 🙂)

I keep coming back to this thread _just_ to look at this pot again!

Really nice @Pitoon! Outstanding craftsmanship in such a well proportioned package :D
That pot is one of the best pots from the batch. You have to see it in person, it's really really nice!

It actually sold before I had a chance to list it on my website. At the moment I'm down to 7 pots left that I'm going to release.
