My grandmother quilted a clamshell or fan pattern like this on every quilt she ever made. I like this one!
I bet her quilts are lovely. My grandmother quilted a clamshell or fan pattern like this on every quilt she ever made. I like this one!
Just want to mention that while it isn't impossible, I don't know any potters that have any luck using an airbrush on pottery. Pottery glazes have a lot of particulates in them and always clog up the nozzle. I know of a lot of people who tried it and gave up. Somebody out there is probably doing it but none of the many potters I know.the kind of thing that has to be done with an airbrush.

I talked myself out of trying when I heard of all the problems.
Yeah, they work great. Problem is you have little control. But I love the spontaneity.Hm... I used a simple mouth-blown atomizer for fixative, in school years ago. For what it's worth, they're available here -- modest & deluxe models

For the kinda of shading of the flowers suggested, it would be near impossible.
That pot is one of the best pots from the batch. You have to see it in person, it's really really nice!I keep coming back to this thread _just_ to look at this pot again!
Really nice @Pitoon! Outstanding craftsmanship in such a well proportioned package![]()
