Here in Wisconsin we have Epic Systems, one of the largest providers of electronic health records software. It was founded in 1979 by a woman named Judy Faulkner. All of the employees wear name badges with their first name, with one caveat....there can be only one ‘Judy’. Legend has it that if your name actually is Judy you need to choose another name.

I work a job every year for a few weeks, and the company owner is a Judy, last name starts with A. So she is JudyA and I'm JudyB...

As a kid, whenever I got that, I just look at them like, who the F are talking to???, but don't say anything....and that's usually the last time.

I've told them it's spelled wrong.
No one calls me Mikey but Big M. I've heard.

Only my parents used Mikey and still do to this day. Almost unavoidable as my father is Mike as well.
