All I dug has been broken and leaking water and sewer pipes. I wish I could have the time and knowledge to collect trees. Here in Texas, you can get shot for any reason. Let alone tresspassing. Instead of a tree, you could potentially collect some lead from an angry landowner. Do I need it ? Nah.

Same in NW Florida.
Ethics aside, I’m not digging a damn thing that’s not on my property or I can expect to be greeted by a 12 gauge (especially at night).

Unfortunately not. It grew for a little bit than died unexpectedly. A year after I dug this up, the area was developed. Hundreds of these ripped up/destroyed.
