Juniperus virginniana "grey owl"

it is coming along, I can see the main structure. Nice

Time will tell how the foliage responds. So far so good.

Thnx leo
The foliage is somewhat droopy atm
According to my teacher i will be able to tighten it up tough but it wil take some time but i guess thats always a thing with bonsai :p

in the meanime this one got its finishing touch
wired as much as possible and placed allthe branches
also i worked the deadwood some with the dremel, torch and afterwards i aplied some lime sulpher
i will post some detail pics of the deadwood later

Was a great prospect with beautiful second trunk. Now looking just another green helmet prospect:rolleyes:.

Very nice. Once those pads grow in and tighten up, this will be a great tree! Great job!!

I know what you mean, also considered this and also semi cascade
But the branching on the seccond "trunk" was of not much good unbendable and as seccond trunk imo it was to high up the trunk to make it believable
For now bones have been set and lots of growth is needed to slowly devellop it further

Looks great Defra. you've handled that unruly beast quite well!! I think the tree will reward you for your efforts come spring 2020.

yeah no more browning occured
it grew a little foliage but not to strong but i kinda expected that after the repot and work ive done before
next year feed it well and let it build up some steam again
ill try to snap some pics soon
