Picked this up at a nursey and just wanted one for my new collection. Dont really have alot of knowledge or practice with conifers so I figured this one could help me. i know basic knowledge but i need to get their growth patterns and such first hand. just basically thinned it out and wired it with a few major branches pruned to set it in the right direction. anyways, here it is for now to sit for a few years maybe more...let me know what you would like for the front...the first picture is what the front is as of now.

In post 1, I think either pic 1,4 or 5 could be the front. I kind of like either 4 or 5. I cannot tell if it is the pic, but the tree itself does not look healthy. I don't want to give any bad news, but when a juniper looks like this, as far as health, it is not a good sign. Just give it morning sun, water when a little deeper than the top soil surface is dry. Also, I wouldn't fertilize until the tree starts growing.

All in all, it is pretty good styling job. I like the look. The proportions are pretty good as far as trunk to foliage proportions.

its the picture...this tree is definitely green...i was using a phone camera and had to edit it to make it clearer and it threw off the color on all the pictures. But we have had a lot of rain lately. It is planted it a very well draining mix with hardly any organics and i have not fertilized it at all. Hopefully it will pull through. i like it too and thank you for your concern for my trees well being and design!
