Basically, it’s a self-contained relative of the pot pie (minus the pot and with different ingredients in the filling, which is more solid instead of soupy). They are seriously delicious. I’m not sure why none of the major chain restaurants have ever caught on and put them on the menu. Perhaps it’s just poor branding? The name fails to communicate the meaty, potato-y, rutabaga-y goodness inside.
