In one week, in just one of my benches, I’ve killed 13 mice and 2 voles. I lost one more tree so far

Eleven years old and their first real Fall and soon to be winter! They would hold their leaves until late Dec. in SoCal. I thought it was interesting that the akadama/pumice on the left is much darker green and the bark/pumice on the right has been much lighter. Fertilizer has been sparse this year and was gro-power after the summer heat. Maybe that mix is consuming more N2 than I thought.
