Imported literati/bunjin sabina juniper

I recently picked up this lovely spanish sabina literati, it requires some styling and development, including a drop branch or two but overall i'm really happy with it.

I’m open to suggestions! My thinking is to go with the first picture as the front as it just flows better. Continue the downward point of the canopy back over the base. Add a couple of drop branches and eventually a slightly smaller pot (there’s a big root that will need reducing slowly to get it more centred

Agreed. First pic is front, drop the right branch down, more movement. Maybe needing to choose a new leader, but the general shape is there, just needs a haircut and a bit of wire.
You could comfortably reduce the foliage 30-50%. Much of that would be done with just a basic cleaning/ wire prep. Clean and oil the live line... couple hours work, and that tree will really shine! Post updates after you get into it
