Have you ever been to the Sakura bonsai club in Traverse City.
I was going to look into contacting them but the only way is through Facebook.

No i haven't...most of my trees are in early development. Someone told me if you want to get Bonsai soil ingredients maybe they order them in bulk.
According to this site they only meet thru Oct.

I've been sticking to cheap DE/granite...i can't find mini-pine bark anymore. For the most part trees have been happy enough...at least the first year.
I also don't use Facebook.
