So I’ve been curious about it ever since I joined BNut... what do each of the user “titles” mean? (seedling, mame, etc.)
Of course the seedling, sapling can be assumed. But what is the order of the titles, and what is the “criteria” for each?

It's based on your post count and it metaphorically follows the life of a bonsai (seedling, sapling, mame, shohin, etc.) Then, there is a custom title at 10,000 posts given to you by bnut himself!
