Huangshan pine from seed

really nice,
the needles stay small as this?

can we trim the top if too high?

looking information about this but doesn't have any on the web.
Also doesn't seem to be used as bonsai much

The raccoons and chickens have killed all of mine.
maybe I’ll try again.

Here's the growth for the first season, just about 5 months old. Winter is right around the corner we'll see how they do? There are some tiny guys mixed in there as well from seed that had no stratification, just put them in blank spots and they popped right up. they are a couple of months old.
Next update SPRING!!!

Any news?
Can you trim the top like an metasequoia ? or wire them?

I still have several growing, but haven’t done much to them yet. I am waiting until they are more vigorous. I am planning on repotting mine next spring and will apply some bends possibly then.

I know this is an old thread but anyone know where I can buy some more of these seeds? I found a bunch in my shop in a bag from 4 years ago but I’m not sure if they’ll grow. I looked everywhere on the internet but no one seems to have them. I’m bummed. I lost all my trees to a hurricane and figured I’d start back up. I planted all the JBP and Huangshan seeds I had left over just praying they’ll sprout. I’m not optimistic.
