Have I officially lost it?

It's a nice tree and obviously healthy. Is it worth $300? That is up to each individual. I wouldn't have been willing to spend that much on it, maybe if I could see it in person. Or maybe if I could figure out how to keep junipers healthy!

Agree with the comment about acquiring trees from club auctions/sales, I've seen some amazing deals...

Regarding "Reflections in Water", I know the person who owns that business and have seen some of her stock. It's healthy and seems to be priced reasonably compared to similar stock elsewhere. I've bought a couple of things from her (no junipers, though) and have had no complaints. For anyone coming to the National Exhibition, she will be vending there.

Chris

I agree that it's overpriced. Hard to find decent procumbens with a sizable trunk diameter though. Seemed like a better deal at 2am. Lol :)

Maybe it seemed like a better deal in comparison as I was also looking at root over rock tridents and this 8" tall 1" trunk diameter one was listed for close to $300! :)

Well, I had some unexpected expenses come up and just can't justify paying $300 plus shipping for such a small tree. So no procumbens for now.

It looks like it could be pretty cool with some deadwood and branch work. Is it worth that much? I would consider it, but guys over in California would probably laugh and say they could get a better tree for 1/3 the price.

all are nice tree's you looked at,but the math equation here would be.

2am + $300.oo tree + paypal = 1 pissed off wife next billing.

good luck in your search.
