I noticed a few of my trident Maples and elms have a white stain on some of the leaves but I can't tell if it's just hardwater stains or powdery mildew.
Some look like water stains

But some look different. When I try wiping it off with my finger, it does come off easily but stays along the veins-- which makes sense because they're more recessed than the surface so my finger doesn't quite reach that.

Any ideas? I sprayed them with Daconil 7/11 so I'd find it weird if it is mildew but
