Was the coast live oak with tiny leaves from Lake Merrit Bonsai Garden in Oakland?? I was just there on Tuesday, and a gentleman was trimming it. I also noted the tiny leaves, and he allowed me to take trimmings from his bucket to try cuttings!

Yep. That's the Kinoshita oak affectionately known as the "Warthog"

Yes. The tiny leaves were amazing! I think this is the nicest oak bonsai I've ever seen
