Honestly, I think the ebay listing is WAY overpriced...
As far as why higher end Bigei pots are so nice, it's hard to explain unless you are holding one in your hands...heavy, refined designs, highly burnished surface...they scream quality and attention to detail.

I looked at all those on that french website, beautiful. I know what you mean about the burned surface and shapes that I liked a lot. Something for me to bookmark for sure. That french website's shipping to US wasn't bad at all. Some really nice pots there for about the same price as for a good quality American by the looks I saw. Thanks for the info Dave!

JM so root bound it cracked the pot and busted completely at repot. Cheapo pot....thankfully!!!

At least you got to use yours. This one was empty for the two years I owned it. Just a few weeks ago I moved it from under the bench when I redid the walls to keep it safe...oh, the irony.
