I did wonder if aliens landed and, if I was chosen as ripe for probing, but then I looked it into it. You eat one first.I wondered what those were, I always cut them off.
No worries, nice to see azalea blooms in the fall!Fall bloom on my MoMo No Haru @Carol 83 graciously sent me last year.

I still have this silly Miss Kim to send you Carol. It has done nothing this year. Has not grown at all nor died. LOL I repotted earlier just to see if it would help. It just looks at me. Maybe if it survives winter it will come to life and ship it. Not worth the postage yet. ha ha

My hibiscus haven't bloomed since repotting and subsequent sun damage while I went camping for a weekend. BUT, they're recovering, and I'm looking forward to giant tropical blossoms for the holidays.Happy to be inside after our first hard freeze.View attachment 459710
It is so nice to see those tropical flowers when everything is dead outside. Makes it worth dragging everything inside. My hibiscus haven't bloomed since repotting and subsequent sun damage while I went camping for a weekend. I never felt like winter was dead, just drab. Sometimes it's peaceful to watch the world sleep. It is so nice to see those tropical flowers when everything is dead outside. Makes it worth dragging everything inside.
Very poetic. It doesn't make me like it any more, but sounds nice.I never felt like winter was dead, just drab. Sometimes it's peaceful to watch the world sleep.
I do think snow makes all the difference in the world sometimes. Chilly evening bundled up outside by a fire, hot cocoa and hot romance as the snow falls about you.Very poetic. It doesn't make me like it any more, but sounds nice.
I get that my friend. Landscaping for 40 plus years, the winter was very special for me. It is a time for inner reflection. The dynamics have changed because of taking care of elders and also because of my own needs. And admittedly, I have far too many tropicals and other plants still to protect, but I still welcome winter with open arms.Sometimes it's peaceful to watch the world sleep.
