Maybe I'll leave mine on the ground next year. I'll take a couple pictures tomorrow if I remember.@RJG2 & @Carol 83 Here's a couple of my Nippon's. They are in a 7gal short, and I'm pretty sure the roots have escaped into the ground below. Next year may trim them back and pick a trunk to work with.

I'm about to dig through my garden for the last of the beans and cucumbers. A few tomatoes are still producing, so I'm going to leave those until it frosts.
Just beautiful Leo!!! I want oneOrchid hybrid I made and registered 20 years ago. Just bought back a division of this cross I had lost. This particular plant is probably tetraploid.
Phragmipedium Ann Bosshart (Magdalene Rose x Walter Schomburg)
Ann Bosshart was my maternal grandmother. For the orchid nuts, parentage is a comp,ex hybrid of bessesae, kovachii, schlimii, either lindleyanum or sargentianum and finally longifolium.

I know this only bloom at night. Did you fool it by bringing it inside? My annual night bloom photos. Only one this year - didn't transition it outside very well, and a lot of it got burned.

It opened sometime in the middle of the night, and was outside. I thought it had a couple more days. Luckily it was still open when I noticed it at 6AM, so I brought it in for the fragrance and to take a couple photos.I know this only bloom at night. Did you fool it by bringing it inside?
