Feedback on my first video

Do you know the history of that Arakawa you think died on you this Winter? It looks like it used to be a taller tree but the top died and was removed

Gave it a prune over the weekend, lost about 50% of the branches, the rest was budding. So I took some time to put it back into direction of a tree.
It has one big chop, but very old. To close it, I will have to remove soft wood and refill, what I can tell. Not sure when it was made. I know the provious owner liked it in the mushroom style.

I really like this pruning technique - taking off the first pair of leaves in the Spring.
It works wonders for a Prunus Mume.

Doing just fine. Lost one brachlet though. 12 needles or so.
