Ah, I see. I have a fan that's the same way so I just leave it on all the time, but obviously you can't do that with the light.

Lovely tree by the way, that alone is enough to convince me to try and keep one.

By all means get a bougainvillea. With 18 hours of light they grow beautifully in winter.

Well I'm glad to prompt some good conversation at the least. I bought the tree bundle specifically to get new/more experience in an area that I'm deficient. That's the main thing I've enjoyed on this site, cross talk and sharing of knowledge and experience. Experience is good, as long as you realize it's something you can baseline off of. Different factors and locations will play a part of course.
