I have only been growing Desmodium for about 5 years, bought 3 three gallon trees and transplanted them into 15 gallon. They are about 5' tall now, just letting them grow wild to increase the trunk diameter. They are growing adjacent to each other so when they are in bloom it looks from afar as a single tree, several dozen tiny seedlings are dug up each season. Last year I cut approx 180 three inch 1/8" to 3/8" three internode cuttings and put them in 60 cell tray using ProMix under my mist system that cycles from 8am to 6pm once every 10 minutes for 10 seconds. I apply Dip-N-Gro using a Vape liquid bottle wetting the lower internode then wiping a bit of Hormone powder on the wet area, this gave me about a 50% success rate! Soon all three trees will be airlayered down to a hard trunk line, repotted right after doing some work on each tree's nebari and reducing the vertical height of each tree's root mass, planted back in the same pot with some fresh soil. A friend of mine is allowing me to plant a dozen or so Desmodium on his Mango/Avocado orchard where people are taking a short cut in the Pahokee muck that is 12' deep for a couple years
