defoliated to wire up new shoots. cut back a few to maybe elongate buds close to the trunk and didn't cut back shoots i want to thicken, like the shoot that will be the next trunk section. I'm watching this tater like a hawk.

just an extra amendment I had laying around. I think it can help with rooting and nutrient absorption
