Copied and pasted from Laurent's/Cosmic Bonsai Facebook wall. I think there were many clubs that wasn't able to book him last year. I would hope we could show him some love...and book him out further than his initial stay. Which I believe happened last year. So please...those with clubs. Possibly talk among yourselves...about the opportunity here.

I will be available all over the world to give classic or cosmic Bonsai lessons all year 2025. Do not hesitate to contact me on my email, Facebook, insta… For now I only have two fixed dates:

- Genk (Belgium) from February 20 to 25, 2025
- Orlando (Florida USA) from May 21 to 27, 2025

The rest of the calendar is blank to date.

This will be my last year to try to live from my art after which I will return to a normal life. A simple job, my vegetable garden, a few chickens and a quiet life far from the incessant hubbub of this world.

Until then you can find us on social networks:

- Insta: Cosmic Bonsai
- Facebook: Cosmic Bonsai
- Youtube: Cosmic Bonsai
- Spreadshirt : Cosmic Bonsai

For this last year we will try to offer you amateur video content and some food for thought about the future of the cosmic style in the future.

Lots of pot from the "ghodt potter" will be for sale on the Cosmic bonsai Stand at the Trophy. Don't hesitate to come to see us.

At the beginning of the year we will create a crowdfunding campaign to finance Volume 3 which will be released in December 2026. It is already pre-written but I am missing a lot of quality photos of cosmic trees in exhibition situations. Time being the primary factor in bonsai, you will easily understand that I cannot release it before.

It should be noted that even if my career were to end at the end of next year, Volume 3 will be released no matter what it costs me. It is a promise I made to myself a few years ago and I deeply want to keep it.

You can contact me on messenger or by email:

Not a fan. Reminds me of Harry Lauder's Walking Stick Hazel, but more contrived. (But that cultivar would give you a something to start with). Also, I am turned off by the action figures and 'Rock Star' audulation of the author. But, to each his own. Just another way to kill trees, which I am happy to continue with in the traditional manner.

Proper head tilt on the killing of trees, bit.

That's what so great about bonsai. A style for everyone...not all for some. I would never own a formal upright tree...or a broom. Personal taste...but, I can still appreciate the technique one used to accomplish the style.

I personally love the scarification on the trunks. That truly makes my mouth water. I actually own 3 of the figures that were in the Trophy display. 😎... one of which is used in this image. Lol that I got from Laurent. He's a bit eccentric... I love he is his own person. He's not a follower. I also am not a follower. So I can appreciate his uniqueness for what it is. I'm also not everyone's cuppa tea. 😉

Another way to kill trees...is slightly... a tad melodramatic. Which...I can also be. So I send a wink your way with a giggle of amusement.

Scarification on a trunk. Makes my mouth water. His student Herve Dora's work.

I think many of the trees are fascinating and that there are a few lessons here that can be applied to many trees. But the action figures are a real distraction, and a real turn off for me. BTW, I have both of his books.

Good points brought out.

Again, I love controversy, so the action figures...kick it up a notch for me. But I can appreciate not for everyone. 🙂 if they were...I may not like them as much. 🙃😉 even the busty figures don't offend me. Possibly...because...I'm busty! Ha!
🤫 shhhhh ... just between us. Giggling.
