i've admired muranaka's trees on ebay for a while -especially the cork elms.
a few weeks ago i decided to buy one and i'm glad i did.this is the nicest tree in my collection now and i wanted to share it.
it's about 7 inches tall and the trunk is around 2 inches at the widest point

it had a few branches and a handful of leaves when i got it and it's really filled out nicely in a few weeks

I think you'll like working with this tree. Take your time developing branches, and be careful when you water to avoid soaking the bark. Overhead watering is not a good idea. I think you made a good choice.

These are fun and easy trees, and that bark is wonderful. I have trouble with mine with the watering issue. Don't let ANY moss get a foothold... Nice grab!
