SPRING 2023 UPDATE!!

THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE JAPANESE BLACK PINE SEEDLING CUTTINGS WILL BE READY IN ANOTHER 12 WEEKS.

ALTHOUGH I DO HAVE A HUNDRED OR SO OF SOME QUALITY CUTTINGS PLANTED IN SMALL PLANT CELL TYPE FLATS.(NOT MY PREFERRED AND FUTURE METHOD OF GRODAN STONEWOOL MINI-BLOCKS).

ALL IS WELL,JUST HAD AN UNEXPECTED EVENT THAT CHANGED SOME TIME AND I LOST A FEW HUNDRED OF THESE PLANT CELL TYPE CUTTINGS.

PERHAPS FOR THE BETTER AS I HAVE DEVISED A RATHER PRODUCTIVE OVER-HAUL OF THE GROW FASCILITY TO TAKE PLACE NEXT WEEK!!!

IN THE STONEWOOL….MUCH NICER AND BETTER.

*** I WILL HAVE 1200 CUTTINGS IN 12 WEEKS WITH THE NEW AND MORE PRODUCTIVE METHODS…….UTILIZING A COUPLE OF 2x8 LOW PROFILE FLOOD TABLES AND A MUCH MORE STREAMLINE PROPOGATION METHOD OF STRIKING PINE SEEDLING CUTTINGS DIRECTLY IN THE STONEWOOL MINI-BLOCKS***

I CAN ACTUALLY DO THIS A FEW TIMES A SEASON AND HAVE ENDLESS SUPPLY OF STARTERS.

So thanks for the support.

Here are the plant cell types…….I have opted not to use these….although they are very healthy..I prefer the grodan mini-blocks.

These I will sell these rather cheaply.
It is cool though to see the thick leaves form from the co2 fertilizer.

**** 1200 JBP SEEDLING CUTTINGS AVAILABLE IN ABOUT 12 WEEKS****

ALSO KABUDACHI STARTERS PLANTED IN LARGE QUANTITY…….THE KABUDACHI WILL NOT BE SOLD UNTIL THE TRUNKS ARE AROUND 3/4 inch AND FORMED TOGETHER……..PROBABLY AUTUMN 2023.
They will be awesome.

Hopefully fresh and zone 6b TRIDENT MAPLE kabudachi also…….I collected tons of seed.

The new fascility will be used in the grow season to start Kabudachi in co2 and then placed outdoors for a natural dormancy and can be sold over winter too……bigtime start and quicker development

It's like those exclusive shoe drops. There's a limited production run of highly anticipated product, it drops and is on sale for a month or two, then sells out till the next unique run is completed.

Thanks everyone for Anticipating the trees I had a crop failure, but then had to overhaul the grow house for the better and I’m starting with very large crops that will be ready first of August

Now I have Siberian elm, kabudachi, and Japanese black pine tree cuttings all in stone wool blocks.

Aug 1st…..I do apologize
Year round supply finally

UPDATED THE EBAY STORE WITH NEWS!!!!

Just news for now …..Everything will be ready for sale 1st week of August…….can read in the about tab.

Thanks everyone.

I do apologize for the delay, but now I have a much more efficient growhouse.
Enjoy the Spring!!!

I wanted to post an update of a JBP that I got from you that I generally neglected and it fortunately escaped from the pot that it shipped in, or else it might not have survived. This past Spring I dug it up, chopped it and potted it, and look at the back-budding on the thing. Someone thought it was pitch pine.

How old is this tree?

I've neglected the kabudachi black pine starters I got two years ago from @cmeg1 - but they are very healthy.

Figured I needed to do something, so absolutely butchered one today. Hopefully I set it up for the future though.

Tough figuring out how to manage sacrifices on a clump black pine. I probably should have started my pine journey with a single trunk... Ha!

Basically just tried to make it so future trunks won't cross too bad, and took the sacrifices off the back two to keep them smaller than the front trunks.
