Cement pot contest

It is 2025 so I don't know, if this thread is still alive... Anyway, I was so bored this winter so I decided to try to make my first cement pot. Few days ago I reppoted my Ribes Uva-crispa into this "attempt" 😅 . Maybe little bit big for it, but "free pot" is a free pot 🤪

Looks amazing, I've wanted to do these for a while. Did you soak it or do anything special after it cured?

Thanks! 🫶

After I made it I let it submerged in water for one or two weeks.

Texture and surface of the pot are especially convincing.
Thank you. I used some black color for concrete to make it little bit darker color. I put sand into box, made some shape into it with hands and covered created hole with plastic bag. Then I put concrete inside and shaped it with hands (with gloves on).

Two more cement pots I want to share. First I made with use of plastic bonsai pot as mold. I didn’t use black color so it is just plain concrete color. Second one is my freehand work as previous with black color added and little bit bigger so it suits my spruce in development.
