Tree and pot both look great! It is 2025 so I don't know, if this thread is still alive... Anyway, I was so bored this winter so I decided to try to make my first cement pot. Few days ago I reppoted my Ribes Uva-crispa into this "attempt". Maybe little bit big for it, but "free pot" is a free pot

Looks amazing, I've wanted to do these for a while. Did you soak it or do anything special after it cured? It is 2025 so I don't know, if this thread is still alive... Thanks!Tree and pot both look great!
After I made it I let it submerged in water for one or two weeks.Looks amazing, I've wanted to do these for a while. Did you soak it or do anything special after it cured?
Thank you. I used some black color for concrete to make it little bit darker color. I put sand into box, made some shape into it with hands and covered created hole with plastic bag. Then I put concrete inside and shaped it with hands (with gloves on).Texture and surface of the pot are especially convincing.
