Can anyone tell me what type of tree this is??

It looks like some kind of cypress to me, but I wouldn't be able to guess a any more specifically. Possibly some species of juniper, but my first thought is cypress. It looks very healthy, though. Is the foliage as blue as it looks in the first two shots, or more silvery green as in the last one? Looks really nice either way.

Yeah thanks it's really healthy. I got it last year from a complete garden removal at work, it was hidden suffocating by other shrubs half dead. I'm wondering what yo do with it 
it's the third shot which represents it best more green. Trying to find out which type of tree it is so I can find out how much I can cut. I used a plant identification app and the top answer was a Cypress so I think your probably right.

Chamaecyparis sp./false cypress would be my guess. There are hundreds of cultivars.

I think it was the camera/flash giving it the silvery blueish look. It's green all over like the last photo.

Any ideas for styling? I'll take more photos in the morning as there lots of branches and a big cut in the centre which I'm guessing was from a couple years ago.
