BRT Help please

I didn't read through all the previous responses so apologies if I'm just repeating what others' have said. They are tropical so obviously would love to be out in the full sun all the time. I live in Seattle and mine is on my south facing indoor windowsill 10 months of the year and is fine. It's not living out it's full potential, but it's a nice attractive , slightly leggy tree. I don't have grow lights and it's my only indoor tree. They are fussy and will drop leaves sometimes when i just rotate it in the window. It always comes back. Not being vigorous in our climate it just stays in a bit of stasis but grows. I would not bring it in and out on warmer days. Just bring it out at the warmest part of summer and back in when it starts cooling down in a month or two to a window with a lot of light. It'll shed it's leaves each time probably.

Very helpful thank you. We are still seeing temps below 50 at night a couple times a week so I am holding off on putting it outside until that seems to be more stable. We also are seeing temps up into the 90s during the day at times. I know I can provide wind protection for my tiny tree but I am worried about it getting too hot. Maybe I am just trying to baby it too much/am overthinking it . I mean I have grown attached to it. Even gave it a name

When you do move it outside, put it in a spot that gets morning sun and shade during the hottest part of the day. The tree will do fine

Oh yes, way too protective.

Cool nights and hot days? That's like steroids for a Raintree.
Mid-40's at sunrise last few days but get's up to low-mid sixties....leaves fold a bit but are fine once they warm........fall?.....as long as the daytime temp hits 60+ I let them see sub 40's....no problems.

Have fun with your Raintree, I think everyone should have one!!
