BRT from Cuttings? Advice.

I’ve only gotten one to root but it didn’t make it due to my impatience...

Cuttings would have been taken in spring with new growth, put into perlite potting mix, placed in a plastic bag, and misted quite often. The bag didn’t hold air so I blew it up daily with my breath. One night I forgot to close the bag and the leaves dried out... kept doing my routine and it didn’t really come back much so I pulled it out to see if it was actually rooting or not... it was... tried replanting it but it dried up quite quick.. haven’t gotten one to root since...

I am tired tonight to get into it. I promise tomorrow to post a sure fire way to get a cutting to not only root but do it without skipping a beat (no defoliation) within reason. I am speaking for cuttings 12” to 2”.

Of a BRT?
I would love to see that. I have to bring in mine very soon; temperatures are peaking at the mid-to-low fifties here and night time see lows now in the low fourties. Bringing them in involves trimming..
