Brightside Bonsai Pots

My first Artisan pots! As pictured: beautiful, well-made, high quality pots. They came with a nice handwritten note and some mesh for drainage holes. Thank you sir for the lovely work. Looking forward to next round of repots to utilize these.

Which lucky plants get the nice pots.... maybe one of my crape myrtles in the small pot and one the Sophora Japonica (Pagoda tree) in the bigger one. This Pagoda was my very first seed to sprout when i first started in April so I think it deserves a special pot. Also, I think the red in the pot will nicely balance the off-white colored flowers of the Pagoda, thoughts? Opinions?

That’s awesome! Glad they made it safely! The good thing about it is you can always switch pots in the future. That’s what is so nice about having ceramic pots. Thank you for ordering a couple. This are some of my favorite glazes. The burgundy is so smooth.

oh I'm sure I'll be ordering more. I need to see how things survive the summer and subsequent winter, then I'll have a better idea how many pots I need (at the moment I have 128 individual plants mostly in plastic nursery pots - I went a little crazy since I started in April). Thanks again for these beauties!

Wow! Sounds fun! I got a lot when I started too. You’ll learn a lot from a winter. I know a couple people up there keeping bonsai for a while. They use cold frames or sheds.

I'll start planning on building the cold frame after I see what survives my vacation this summer - drading it

Sweet pots! @BrightsideB has some fantastic pots!

def. True!

at the moment I have a lot of pots waiting for spring repots, and a tremendous number of new plants... planted my first seed in April and bought my first seedling just after..... I have 128 separate containers at last count. I'll have to start repotting when the time comes and then see what sizes and numbers I need.
