Judy, that works great for aluminum, but you wouldn't want copper spun in such tight spools.Well since you like the idea, be sure to get two trug/totes things, I use a second one for used wire I pull off, and they can stack and you can still get your hand thru the handle to carry both together. I use both sides now for used wire sorted by fat stuff and skinny.

I never wind copper on anything, I leave it in the rolls that it ships to me, and in flat cardboard boxes. This is only my system for alum. wire.Judy, that works great for aluminum, but you wouldn't want copper spun in such tight spools.
Not to get off the subject, but this didn't start at the time you had to do all the treating of your land that got diseased by chance did it?Yeah, the box layer method works better for the larger copper. I stopped wiring though so smaller amounts of aluminum work out great for tethers. A year now, multiple tests and the brilliant Medical field still can't figure out why my hands go goofy, fed up, stopped going, stopped being an experiment for medications.

Well sorry to hear. Hope it runs it's course and goes away as mysteriously as it is inhabiting you. I'm sure they've checked for lyme? Sounds familiar to some lyme symptoms, and for some reason it's the last thing some of them think of... wishing you better days. The trembling uncontrolled just in my fingers is hard to explain and not predictable. Hard to do detailed things though as I have to sometimes stop for awhile making a 1 hour job 3 or more hours and frustrating. It was happening before Spring 2015 but rarely. Today if I sit down with a Serissa or Cotoneaster for a simple clip and/or root work it takes a day - argh. I have often thought it "could be" damage from chemical exposure but extensive testing nets no results, nor does nerve problems caused by pinching, etc... A strange event has occurred since the problems with the property though. The tendon the palm of my right hand palm between my thumb and forefinger has hardened to rock - a lot of therapy and zero results or relief. I am tired of it but more with the Doctors - as soon as they see you have great Medical it certainly "seems" they make every effort to rape the system. For example after blood tests at one Doctor and a referral to a Specialist the Specialist orders the exact blood work that was just done 2 - 3 weeks prior. The Insurance covers it but WTF? 1,200 to 1,400USD a throw?
Either way I can clip and grow and tether hella lot better then in the past - only have one 1/4" deep puncture this year from runaway concave cuttersI am just going to deal with it as best I can and can and always when/if needed hire a pro

Excellent!! I was also looking at a plastic container for my stuff but i bought a medium size tool bag. Its pretty durable. I appreciate the suggestion. ;o)And then I just store them in a plastic trug that has a handle... one side for tools, one side for wire. View attachment 160730

Pretty cool! It's awesome having a wife that's a Supermarket Store Manager.
My lady brought this home for me, as the vendor didn't need it any longer.
It'll be used as my Bonsai Wire-Rack.
The vendors typically leave these types of displays in the store's storage room when the don't need them any longer, then they eventually just toss them in the trash.
It's adjustable from 1 to 4 levels.
A Li'L Post Christmas Gift... LOL...

Please don't be jealous. Here is mine.

Sorry for off topic, back to the wire caddy ideas!
That's great!!I wanted to share with you and extend my thanks to so many members here that PM'd me with advice concerning my hands trembling randomly for no reason that Doctors were unable to pinpoint.
It was recommended to me a few months back to find a good Massage Therapist by a friend. I did and have only been there twice... She does something she calls Muscle Separation for an hour per visit. It is a bit painful but tolerable and the results are fabulous. She has me walking straight and tall, sitting proper, lifting, and using my hands with no problems
Again, thank you and everyone else!
