The only thing impressive about catalpa in summer are the flowers.
They all look stunning in winter, though.

Came across this oak clump the other day. The arrangement isn't perfect and it seems there are 6 () trees but still...

My wife and I spent the last few days in and around Charleston, SC. There are a number of really impressive live oaks here. This one is said to be 1000 years old and is at Magnolia Plantation. You can see the people near it to get an idea of its size.
