I am not hugely into double flowers, but this one is pretty nice! This was gifted to me by Mr Klimavicz, who hybridized this one himself. It appears very 'pillowy' to me. Whatever that means in the realm of azalea flowers.
In the US, these are for sale at White's Nursery: http://www.whites-nursery.com/index.html
In the EU, I might be the exclusive source, though I gave several away to friends and family already.

Spring has finally kicked off with Kurumes and hybrid azaleas blooming. Here is one of my favorites… well there are a lot of favorites, but this is really high on that list!

Orchid Star - it grew up into a natural clump style. I cut it back two times last year. The last was in October…

R. kiusianum ”Kirishima” (Apparently originally taken from the source.)

Plant original cutting was taken from. (Note differences in color are due to daylight, whip above vs incandescent lighting in the display tree below)

A new early favorite we’ve had for two years now. First real bloom.

Komo Kulshan - Somewhat rarer due to shocking pink color coupled with the white inner area.

The blooms are coming fast and furious now. Each day is a new and fun discovery!
