I have three from @rodeolthr , in the spring he sells a ton of non grafted JM through eBay. Awesome trees at a great price.

Been watching our waterfall JM do this for about twenty years and it never gets old...

Question for all the Maple Experts. My Tobiosho Maple went from being all green to these magnificent fall colors in just 2 days but then just 2-3 days later the leafs completely shriveled and dried up. Is this normal? Why didn’t the fall colors last?

Dropped below freezing before the fall colors completed? Never pull leaves off when they are still hanging on as that can damage buds.

No, I live in Southern California Los Angeles area we don't get freezing temps.

The dry air is most likely the culprit. Here in Seattle the autumn color can last for weeks.....but a couple dry and sunny days and our leaves look exactly the same as yours.

Airlayers... taken 2021... not 2032
