I love the history of Bonsai, the trees, the Artists, the Exhibitions,ok so everything.
This past November an American was asked to be a Judge at the 38th Taikan ten held in Kyoto in the Miayko Messe Center. That person was my great Friend & Teacher Wm. N. Valavanis!!! No American or westerner has done a fraction of the personal study & promotion of Japanese Bonsai and sharing their beauty than Bill. I know this was deeply appreciated by Bill and an incredible show of respect by
the Japanese Bonsai community. Congratulations Bill
on this historic honor, it is well deserved!!!
