    Orion's Pots

Ugh, this thread really reminds me that my American potters website is looooooong overdue for a massive update. So many potters to add!!!

    Nippon Daisy

I give them a haircut a few times per year, but I haven't really done any branch selection. I probably should, although some of them are tough to get to since I planted them in a clump where I had the space. Just snapped a few pics of the trunks - hard to get a sense of scale, but these are...

    Kintsugi Pot Repair

Yeah, from what she told me she would visit him regularly and bring back a pot haul to her shop to resell. I can understand people being dubious about unsigned pots, but these seem to be spot-on Lenz.

    Nippon Daisy

Partly I wanted to let them recover after pulling them out of a neighbor's yard where they grew for about 25 years or so. There's also about 20 of them and I knew I wouldn't be able to take care of all of them all at once if I threw them in pots. Also, that would have been a ton of cash for...

    Kintsugi Pot Repair

Yep, I'm 99% positive that it's a Lenz. I bought it from Pauline Muth of PFM Bonsai some years back. She always seemed to have a decent stash of his work for sale at any given time, so I ordered this one along with 4-5 others from her. In the pictures you can see that all 4 pots have similar...

    Kintsugi Pot Repair

Oh man, I have a broken Nick Lenz pot that I've had for years that I've always wanted repaired. Arrived in the mail broken and it's just sat in a box since. I would love to see whether you'd be able to mend it.

    Nippon Daisy

Hi everyone, it's been some time since I stopped in. Life has been overwhelmingly crazy the past few years and my whole bonsai hobby fell by the wayside as a result. I've been doing a lot of thinking and I've decided that I want to try developing and keeping a Nippon Daisy bonsai collection...

    Flowers 2021

Small little Indian pinkroot. I’m hoping to collect the seeds this year to maximize germination. Would love to have a carpet of these.

I don’t think I posted these yet. Some azaleas from the landscape and an ornamental yarrow.

Mame pots on a mini pottery wheel

Planted out my little @Pitoon cascade with some ‘Elfin’ thyme. It should settle in and fill out more as it establishes. I’m hoping for a tighter drape.

Sorry I'm so late responding to your post. This pot looks great! I really like the proportions - it's simple enough to let the glaze shine without being overly busy. Is it a trick of the light, or is the glaze somewhat metallic?

    My Pitoon Pot is Here!

Yes please on more unglazed pots. I'm partial to the unglazed drums and cascade pots from your first batch. The proportions hit all the right notes for me. Also, I found some micro-thyme at a garden center yesterday that I might try to squeeze into the pot. I think it would look nice with...

    My Pitoon Pot is Here!

Hi everyone, I just received my Pitoon pot yesterday and all I can say is wow. I'm really impressed with the packaging - it was bomb-proof. I wish more potters would double box and use proper packing material. I've been lucky over the years that I've only received a few damaged pots in the...

Very nice - especially for a first attempt! Can you get a better picture of the round pot jpeg IMG_3394? For whatever reason the simplicity of the pot paired with that glaze caught my eye and I would love to see more of its details.
