Okay so went to the local tree market that opened for spring......looked at this and that......expensive mostly......got to bonsai section......walking....yawn......mostly fruit trees and flowering trees because theyre and I quote "in fashion" not sure how that works......

False cypress label......thats not a false cypress....... The one next to it maybe but not that one....
Me:How much is that?
Lady: Japanese False Cypress are all 20.
Me: that one too....
Lady: yeah theyre all the same.....
Me: (thinking to myself) you really arent into bonsai are you.

Yeah its a good 8 years or so old tree in my estimation so I am pretty chuffed with myself......now to get some nebari in the works
