Hi I was recently on bonsai empires web site and noticed they were advertising that they have a bonsai tree care app to help track your trees and needed care and calendar of proper time of year to perform work along with other features. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it or any thing like it. I'm still newer to bonsai so anything that helps manage them I feel would be useful. Thanks

I’ll be checking it out; I have a lot of “timing anxiety” with bonsai technique, so a comprehensive guide of the timing nuances of species sounds useful.

i have it and its too early to tell if the reminders are useful. it looks like i can edit dates for stuff like repots to suit my microclimate so it should be good. i especially like the photo feature that reminds you to take a picture every 3 months. itll be fun to see my progression pictures later on

I’m pretty underwhelmed. I’m going to add more trees and see if there is much more specific features or info for other genii, but the three I put in are all the same. I’m going to busy on February 23 and March 23, because that’s when all the reminders are fo.

I think for now I’ll stick to Notion and writing my own reminders using that app. Curious to see what the fabled Mirai app has as far as care guides.

I just got the app yesterday and am adding trees. I think it will be nice for the reminders (although hope they're not overwhelming with approx. 55 trees). Also, I was thinking of it as a tool to use "in the field" so I'm not running back into the house to look stuff up. We'll see...

It is causing me to organize all the tree (and grandchild) photos on my phone which is great!

Interesting! Have not heard of this App until now. I created portfolios to keep in binders to track the progress and seasonal goals of each tree. How accurate are you finding the App thus far?

According to the "thank you" email I received, it has only been out a few days. Might be a while until people catch on to it. The price was reasonable, I think $30 for a one year subscription.
