I guess the pink shorts are only for special occasions....
I was actually going to put those on for the photo but opted for comfort and efficiency for the slated work load instead of the dapper snazziness you all apparently expect from me :p .

I went to fertilize my JBPs and nearly stepped on this guy… two years ago, the ground was still frozen solid and wouldn’t thaw for another week or two!

Lived her my whole life and I can't recall a February like we had, or the beginning of March being this warm, and I've seen it snow in June.

Yeah, crazy weather for sure. There was a tornado just north of here nlast week... I thought I left those late winter tornadoes down south!

All the children are out enjoying sunshine. Nice growing area!
Almost... the deciduous trees are all either still mulched in on the patio or under lights in the cold room. I'm hopeful to move them out into real sun in the next few weeks.

Goji berries were all the rage 8-10 years ago, but you don’t really see them that much anymore. I got caught up in it, and bought a really nice one only to have it die after getting knocked off the bench during a freak snowstorm back in 2017. anyway, I was lucky enough to have taken cuttings while it was living :). This one lived in the yard for a few years and was dug up from the hillside in Georgia right before the move. I finally decided to do something with it… I think it pairs well with the vintage sunny bogs pot… Love, love, love that pot😎!

At least, in Georgia, they flowered and produce fruit regularly. Now that I’m paying attention to this neglected little clump, I’ll be able to follow it more closely here in Michigan.
