Imperial Masterpiece
Okay folks,
we noted over the years [ 1988 to present ] that J,B,pine seeds
would be say, 30 planted - 25 or so germinate, and 5 to 10 would
grow very well.
The rest would slowly die/fade.
So we want to test an idea.
The whole world was once Sub-Tropical and the genes for
sub-tropics should still be on the chain.
We are going to test the idea on White Pines.
Will seed germinate and thrive that are Tropical ?
Birds have been passing over Trinidad for centuries.
They have left the Fustic [ Chlorophora t.] as seed in their
poop.
This tree grows i zone 9 Argentina, and is now a lumber wood
down here.
Perhaps we might get lucky.
We did have a white pine seedling for 2 years, but someone
ate the head.
We also have what was sold to us as Japanese Red pine seed.
all save one died.
Wish us luck.
Good Day
