So I just received my BRT and I love it! The only thing is the trunk is stick straight, I'm wondering when BRTs start to flute/flatten? Also I am thinking of keeping it in this pot to let it grow and settle in a bit, is that a good idea or should I transfer it to a bonsai pot? Thanks for the help!PXL_20231103_071016915.jpg

Yes. I don't know if you had it shipped but it will take a little while to adjust to it's new home. Repotting is stressful for them and best done in the summer. Give it as much sun as you can don't let it dry out. That looks like a really deep pot, don't let it sit in constantly soggy soil. Welcome to the forum! Please add your approximate location in the world to get the best advice. People in really warm climates can grow them outside year round. Many like me have to overwinter them indoors.
