Does anyone use Zerotol as a pine fungicide treatment? Does this require protection of the soil? I've read that you should drench the soil on maples? Is there ever a fungicide treatment on pines that does not require protection of the root zone?

I would not use zerotol on pine roots. As pines have mycorrhizae fungus which is beneficial to the tree zerotol kills pretty much anything organic and all pathogens it is great for using especially in deciduous like jap maples. But it strips the soil of nutrients also. So it’s recommended that you use something afterwards to replenish the soil. I have not ever used on pines. But my gut tells me it a big no no. Especially on the roots
