Windswept raft California juniper!

After I finished styling it this morning, I decided to share it with you!
I got this one from the auction at Bonsai -A-Thon show on 2/28/ 2010. It belonged to Ms. Marge Blasingame. It stayed in the clay pot which looks like a custom made pot for this particular tree. I did not transplant it since I got it!

In 5 years, I gave it some training here and there.

I am glad that you picked it up. Yes, it is and it is quite understandable. As we all know, wind direction could change big time especially in severe storm.

You need either to put a bend (or two) in the raft trunk, of plant the raft at more of an angle so you don't get the impression the tree was designed with a ruler.
