Really? From what I’ve read and seen, Sabina can make great bonsai. Not only wild trees, but nursery stock can lend itself great to making dramatic deadwood features.Would love to see how this goes. Local nursery has a ton a thick Sabina’s but haven’t seen much about them.
Wow. That’s dangerous!I have to check but they had a handful with very nice trunks and movement. And they were all marked down to 12 bucks or less.
I believe they have Sabina Monna? Might not be the right name but I believe that’s it.Really? From what I’ve read and seen, Sabina can make great bonsai. Not only wild trees, but nursery stock can lend itself great to making dramatic deadwood features.
What types of Sabina do they have?
I have 5 ‘scandia’ Sabina’s because for some reason they grow a lot and then clearance a lot at my favorite nursery. View attachment 460040
The Scandia has fairly course feathery foliage. It’s ok, but I’m sure there are better options. I have a small ‘Acadia’ Sabina that has tighter foliage.
Nice. I guess they referred to as Calgary Carpet Juniper?I believe they have Sabina Monna? Might not be the right name but I believe that’s it.
I grabbed what I believe will be a beast of a tree provided I don’t kill it. Curvy with a very thick base.
That looks like it has a lot of potential!Pictures didn’t come out great it’s actually a fair amount thicker than the lighter.
